Seven Days Till Cthulhu is a guided adventure for The Legacy of Cthulhu, designed to help new narrative-game players begin telling their own stories with confidence.

Its seven-day structure is inspired by Infærnum: each day brings the characters closer to a catastrophe they may not be able to stop. Use the adventure as written or make it your own by adding events, checks, items, and discoveries from the Core Rulebook.

For the fullest experience, we also recommend Before the End: A Prelude to The Legacy of Cthulhu.

Synopsis

Arkham is a city built on mystery and occult secrets. Now something beneath the surface is beginning to stir.

A group of Survivors is drawn together by forces beyond their understanding as nightmares spread, impossible phenomena take hold, and unexplained disappearances multiply. With each passing day, the signs become clearer: an ancient entity is nearing its return.

Over seven anguishing days, the Survivors must gather allies, protect the innocent, uncover forbidden truths, and resist the creatures rising in the growing dark. Their minds may fracture before they discover what lies behind the city’s unraveling.

On the seventh day, Cthulhu awakens.

Arkham stands at the edge of destruction. The final fight may already be lost—but even the smallest hope can still burn against the darkness.
