We are very excited to share that our official countdown has started towards our September 23rd launch! However, we still have a ton of news to share in the upcoming days that we think you will enjoy.
Besides the core game package (which includes Creation, Lore, and Rule books), we plan to produce extra content for Nomads Unbound regularly. Just like Infaernum and the Solo10 system that supports The Legacy of Cthulhu, we want Nomads Unbound to be highly customizable and versatile, giving players as many choices and options as possible so they can play their way.
So, with that in mind, we already started designing a pipeline of content for 2026 that has at least 4 significant content drops. Everything is still deep into development, but the overall direction is already firm enough so we can share.
The first extra Content Pack that we are producing is being tentatively called Advanced Combat. As you probably guessed, it is focused on adding way more depth to combat situations, featuring positioning and other factors inspired by tactical games like X-Com or Final Fantasy Tactics, with sprinkles of wargames like Warhammer. We already have the maps and figures, so we thought it would be the most natural way to expand the game in its early stages. The package will also include at least 5 new STL models (plus print-and-play standees), a complete story setting, and themed event cards that can add modifiers and other twists to your scenes.

The best part? This first content pack will be FREE to all of our backers during our crowdfunding phase!
After that, we are actively working on the following 3 Content Packs, all featuring new stories, themed cards, STL and Print-And-Play figures, and a few extra rules or modifiers:

Desert Rats: your adventurers end up in a Mad Max-esque wasteland controlled by mutant rats specialized in raiding and scavenging fallen universes. They retrieved exotic weapons, artifacts, and gear that we guarantee you didn’t see coming.
The Hollow: a deeper dive into the mysteries of the Hollow, the darkness that threatens the Nomads’ existence. Expect influences from Lovecraft to Giger, with cybernetic-enhanced monsters and grotesque situations.
Multiverse Heroes: an exploration of some lore characters that gives more context about the different organizations and structures of power in the Nomads Universe. Expect a diverse selection of heroes and villains, mixing elements from various historical and geographic settings.
Please note that most things here are works in progress and feature temporary art. We need help funding new artwork and extra models for these packs, so we will offer these three expansions in what we are calling an ‘Annual Pass’. You will be able to add it to your pledge, guaranteeing you will have fresh, new content for Nomads Unbound all year-round at the very best price!
We still have more to share, so we will be back soon before the campaign starts! Follow now on Gamefound!
